Remnants of the Past

Athens, Greece - a Outdoor Market - Not from from the Pedestrian Way ringing the Acropolis. (I liked calling it the Acropolis Path)

My focus of this picture was actually the pair of short swords. I had wanted to buy them but I was a) uncertain of whether to use the money and b) not sure I would have been to get them past customs though I suppose I could have put them in my luggage. Having live blades to choreograph written fight scenes would have helped loads though...

So I took a picture for reference.

At the time I hadn't noticed the interesting set up I had here of the coins and the swords.

War and Economy - it often went hand in hand. 

Edited in Photoscape to deepen shadows, focus on the centerpiece and lessen the sunlight glare but I didn't want to compromise the quality of the photo too much.
